One Week to go...

…so it’s time to pull the wraps off the final acts entertaining you over the weekend.

The main stage line up see’s the addition of Highland heroes Tweed who open up the main stage on Friday, after Loopallu’s now customary welcome from the multi award winning Ullapool Pipe Band. Our final act to announce is the fabulous Kerri Watt; a firm favourite of Radio 2 and someone we predict wonderful things for.

Then we come to the infamous Loopallu Fringe. This year sees a couple of first timers, The Oxbow Lake Band and Keith Robinson join a host of familiar faces including The Federals, Sons o’ the Soil, Ruairidh Maclean, Lewis Stevenson and Little Mammoths who’ll be popping up at The Arch Inn, The Ceilidh Place, The Ferry Boat Inn, The Argyll Hotel and The Caley on Friday and Saturday night from 11.30pm.

These acts join the previously announced Alabama 3, The Bluetones, John Cooper Clarke, British Sea Power, Bad Manners, Breath Underneath, Hò-rò, Astrid, Mark Radcliffe's UNE, HYYTS, LOVE SICK, Peat & Diesel, ST.MARTiiNS, Davy & Sam (Acoustic Punk), Little Mammoths, The Experiment and Val McDermid, Liam McIlvanney and Vic Galloway on the Literally Literary stage.  Sadly, Lucia can no longer attend.

A handful of remaining tickets are currently on sale at or in person from The Arch Inn (Ullapool) and Eden Court (Inverness).

Loopallu. Small, perfectly formed (we think) and still truly independent.

Those who've been rave about it.... it's a small event, but the line up overshadows that of many mainstream festivals.

Always one of the most fun and friendly festivals, Loopallu punches above it's weight

They’re selling the family silver – even granny is at risk of being put up for auction as fans try and outbid each other for tickets for Loopallu.
